Plant Protection Products - Efficacy evaluation in high growing crops based on leaf wall area

Experts from the Institute for Plant Protection Products, directly involved in evaluation of active substances and plant protection products, offer a one-day session to address several current developments and updates in the field of leaf wall area.

The following topics will be covered:

• Technical necessity of a harmonized dose expression
• Leaf wall area – currently the best approach/compromise
• Glossary of terms
• Extracting leaf wall area relevant parameters from “old” trial reports
• Practical exercise on LWA calculation  (e.g. Minimum effective dose)
• LWA in the GAP table
• Transformation of LWA results to national dose expression systems
• Questions and Answers

Program: The final program of the one-day session will be provided to the registered participants prior to the event. Registered participants will be given the opportunity to submit questions, which will be discussed by efficacy experts directly involved in the registration process in a “Questions and Answers” time slot.

Capacity limits: Please note that this technical session has a maximum capacity of 30 participants and will not take place in case of less than 10 registrations. (The event can be offered at a later date if a sufficient number of requests has been received.)
