The Vienna Energy Security Dialogue 2025 Edition

ENERGY SECURITY IN AN ERA OF UNCERTAINTY: NAVIGATING NEW REALITIES

As global tensions rise and trade becomes more complex and volatile, energy security is again a top priority on the global agenda. Clean energy ambitions now intersect with geopolitical realities that are reshaping the security landscape. How can governments and industries find their way in this more divided and uncertain world and make the energy sector resilient to future shocks?

Jointly organized by the World Energy Council Austria and the OSCE, in co-operation with Ernst & Young and the Federation of Austrian Industries, the eighth edition of the Vienna Energy Security Dialogue will be dedicated to discussing how to foster energy security in an era of uncertainty and how to navigate new realities.

The upcoming Vienna Energy Security Dialogue will explore the future of co-operation, emerging energy security risks, and what this all means for the clean transition. Gathering over 200 decision makers and energy experts from the private sector, politics, academia and civil society, this year’s edition features the following sessions:

  • Redefining Energy Security in a Geopolitically Uncertain World
  • The Energy Sector under Pressure - Navigating Global Shifts in Trade, Market, and Economic co-operation dynamics
